continuation of "Beautiful Scenery + Delicious Food + Wonderful People = Nice Weekend" post
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tuesday: I had my regular classes today,--Fluids, Machine Design, and Heat Transfer--ate lunch (soup, salad, spaghetti with vegetable bolognase sauce) in the mensa with some friends, and then had Machine Design.
I talked with my mom's best friend from high school and made plans to visit her and her family the weekend of the 26th. :) I went to the train station with two of my friends. I FINALLY got my reservation for France! I have to come back Sunday morning instead of Monday, but oh well, I'll still get to stay with my brother's friend. Then we went grocery shopping at Aldi. I had dinner in my room and was able to Skype with my friends back home :) and talk with one of my cousins :).
Wednesday: One of my classes got canceled! so I just had Germany within Europe. After lunch, we went to the train station again to reserve our seats to Berlin for our class trip (we got separate reservations coming back).
I then went to the post office to mail some postcards, went to H & M (got a shirt & scarf), and bought a new bag (for only 5.99 euro!...it was the perfect size, but I later found out why it was so cheap--the leather-like paint started peeling after a week or two).
To give you an idea of how weird my sleep schedule (or lack thereof) was sometimes, this is what happened after I got back from shopping:
-nap-
-dinner-
-Skype with family and friends-
-sleep/nap-
-woke up early on Thursday to Skype with my brother-
-back to bed for another nap-
-got ready for class-
Thursday: I only had Fluids class, and afterward my friends and I went to lunch (rigatoni with bolognase sauce, soup, salad--as you can probably tell by now, they serve soup & salad every day and serve pasta quite often). I chilled in my room and packed during the afternoon, then we went to dinner at the pizzeria down the street. I had a kebap pizza (so. good.) and in general, they had better prices than the other nearby restaurant. :) We went back to the apartments and watched some Youtube videos.
Peace. Love. Happiness.
